In 2011, his art returned from Paris to be prominently displayed in his home town of Nagasaki at the famous Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture ( www.nmhc.jp ). More than fifty pieces of Ebisu’s work were used in the rare extended two month exhibition this summer, and during this time the entire city embraced his art and proudly displayed it on their trams and buildings. Ebisu also continues to be warmly embraced by Japan’s entertainment world and is frequently featured on comedy talk shows and variety shows.
